CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief in the 1600 block of Great Western Drive. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

An Arizona resident reported a first degree criminal trespass and theft in the 1000 block of Hover Street. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

Longmont police took a report of a possible domestic incident occurring in the 300 block of National Place on January 20, 2019. The case is under investigation.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Thursday, 1/24/19, Longmont police received a report of a suspicious incident that occurred at a business in the 300 block of South Hover Street. This case is closed due to a lack of workable leads or suspect information.

SHOPLIFT

The Longmont Police Department recovered several stolen items while investigating a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of 17th Avenue . An adult male was issued a county summons for theft.

HARASSMENT

On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at approximately 1647 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way in reference to a possible sex assault. An investigation was conducted. An adult male was issued a summons for harassment.

ASSIST

On 1/23/19, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Airport Road in reference to a juvenile issue. A juvenile male made suicidal statements and was taken

into protective custody. This case is closed.

THEFT

On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at approximately 2200 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Caywood Court on a theft. Suspects have been identified. This case is open.

AUTO THEFT

On Thursday, January 24, 2019, at around 00:07 hours, Longmont police investigated a motor vehicle theft in the 4500 block of Redmond Drive. A juvenile male was arrested and the investigation is closed. This case is cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Thursday 1/24/19, at approximately 0015, police responded to the 1000 block of 6th Avenue in relation to the shooting of a BB gun. This case will be closed due to a lack of evidence.

DUI

On Thursday, 1/24/19, Longmont police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 4th Avenue and Main Street in reference to a possible DUI. An adult male was contacted and later arrested for driving while intoxicated. This case is closed, cleared by arrest.

EXTRA PATROL

On 1/24/19, an officer made contact with an adult male in the 1700 block of Main Street. After talking to the man, it was found that the man was unstable and needed to be placed on a mental health hold due to ideations. This case is closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On January 24, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 1700 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard on the report of a sexual assault. This case is closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 1/24/19, Longmont officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to a trespass. An adult male was found to have a warrant for his arrest and was also found to have illegal narcotics on his person. This case is cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

The Longmont Police Department investigated an attempted burglary in the 3600 block of Yale Drive. This case is closed.

FOLLOW-UP

On Thursday, 1/24/19, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

On January 24, 2019, at approximately 2000 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of South Hover Street on a report of a theft. An adult male was given a Longmont municipal summons and released.

DISTURBANCE

On January 24, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Mount Sneffels Street on a disturbance. An adult male was found to have a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.
