THEFT

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 1600 block of Hover Street. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, 1/16/19, officers arrested an adult male on a probation violation at the county court annex. This case is cleared by arrest.

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD

On 1/16/19, Longmont officers investigated a report of a child abuse in the 1100 block of Grant Street. This case is open pending further investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On 1/16/19, at 1435 hours, a Longmont police officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult male was taken into custody on an active warrant and was later released on $100.00 cash bond. This case was cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On 01/16/19, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Hover Street on the report of an attempted theft. Officers investigated and documented their findings. This case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at approximately 1920 hours, officers contacted an adult female by phone regarding a domestic disturbance that occurred in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane earlier in the day. The adult male involved in the disturbance was contacted and interviewed about the disturbance. Probable cause was not developed to make an arrest and this case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, police responded to a possible indecent exposure on the 200 block of Main Street. A vehicle matching the description was contacted and the driver attempted to lie about her date of birth. She was later identified and found to have 2 active warrants. She was arrested and transported to jail.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The Longmont Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit assisted the Northern Colorado Regional Forensic Lab with an investigation. This is an on-going investigation, and any inquiries should be directed to the Northern Colorado Regional Forensic Lab.

DRUG VIOLATION

On January 16, 2018, Longmont police served a search warrant for narcotics violations in the 0 block of Spring Dale Place. A 39 year-old female and a 37 year-old male were arrested for narcotics violations. Another 47 year-old male was taken into custody for an active arrest warrant. This case is closed.

FOLLOW-UP

On Tuesday 1/15/19, at 1035 hours, a Longmont police officer recovered a stolen vehicle in the 10 block of Reed Place. This vehicle was previously stolen out of Fort Lupton, Colorado. This case is closed with no active leads.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 1/15/19, at about 1:11 PM, officers in the 4900 block of Nelson Road were advised of a theft earlier in the day as well as one from the week before. A suspect was identified and contacted. A 14 year-old male was contacted and he confessed to the thefts. The male was referred to Silver Creek High School for restorative justice. This case is exceptionally cleared.

SEX ASSAULT

On 1/15/19, Longmont police officers responded to the 4000 block of Redmond Drive. Officers investigated a report of child abuse. This case is open.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at approximately 1725 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department contacted an adult male in the 700 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. The male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On 1/15/19, at approximately 1900 hours, Longmont police officers responded to the report of a counterfeit bill being passed at a business in the 700 block of 9th Avenue. This case is closed due to lack of leads.

FOLLOW-UP

On Tuesday, 1/15/19, at approximately 1959 hours, officers responded to the 700 block of Cameron Lane on the report of a person in a mental health crisis. Officers located the adult male and placed him on a mental health hold. This case is closed.

THEFT

On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at about 2252 hours, Longmont police took a report of a stolen temporary license plate. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On 1/16/19, officers responded to the 1600 block of Great Western Drive on the report of a possible burglary. No items were taken and there are no suspects. This case is closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On Wednesday, 1/16/19, at approximately 0032 hours, police responded to the 300 block of 15th Avenue in relation to a welfare check. This report is generated for informational purposes and the case will be closed.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday, 1/16/19, at approximately 0107 hours, Longmont police contacted an adult male in the 600 block of Collyer Street for a parks violation. The male was arrested for violation of a protection order and violation of bond conditions. This case is cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On January 16, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the 2000 block of Sumac Street on a call of burglary. There was no evidence of an attempted entry, only a broken window which appeared to be from a small object hitting it. There are no suspects and this case is closed.

FRAUD

An employee of a Longmont business reported forgery and theft in the 700 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Longmont police completed a warrant arrest on the 1000 block of Kimbark Street. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 300 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. This case is closed due to a lack of viable suspect information.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Longmont police were called to the 200 block of East 8th Street in response to criminal mischief. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken. This c case is closed.

MENACING

On Wednesday, 1/16/19, at about 1:29 PM, a school resource officer was made aware of a specific threat to multiple students in the 4900 block of Nelson Road. The 17 year-old male who inadvertently sent the threats to a large group was contacted and found to not have ill intentions for the students he made a threat against. The student was referred to the school and parents for consequences. This case is closed.

ASSIST

On Wednesday, 1/16/19, at approximately 1441 hours, officers responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue to assist an outside agency. Officers assisted getting an adult male reconnected with services. This case is closed.

TRESPASS

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 1646 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of South Bowen Street. A shed was broken into and at this time no suspect information is available. This case has been closed due to a lack of workable leads.

WARRANT ARREST

On 1/16/19, officers responded to the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on a report of an intoxicated adult male. After investigation, the male was found to have a Longmont Municipal Court Warrant for theft. This case is cleared by arrest.
