FRAUD

A Longmont business owner in the 200 block of Main Street reported an incident of forgery and theft. The case status is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 1/14/19, Longmont officers responded to the 2100 block of Main Street in reference to a trespass. An adult male was found to be in violation of a protection order. This case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bitten by a loose dog while riding his bike. The dog was located and quarantined at home.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday, January 14, 2019, police responded to the 600 block of Peck Drive on a possible violation of a protection order. An adult male went to the residence of an adult female with a protection order. The case is under investigation and open.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On January 14, 2019, at approximately 1958 hours, police were dispatched to the 100 block of Spring Dale Place on a welfare check on a suspicious vehicle. A male party was passed out inside of a running vehicle with the driver's door left open. It was determined that the male suspect had a warrant with the Adams County Sheriff's office. A search of the vehicle found multiple financial devices (credit cards), drug paraphenalia, a substance which tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine, Alprazolam and Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills, a number of driver's licenses and passports not belonging to the suspect. Additionally, the suspect was driving under a revoked license and the vehicle was determined to have been stolen out of Thornton, while also displaying stolen license plates. He was taken to the Longmont Police Department for booking and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

ASSAULT

On January 14, 2019 at approximately 2000 hours, officers responded to the 1600 block of Main Street on a report of an assault on an at-risk adult. Officers were not able to find enough information to substantiate criminal charges and the case is closed.

DISTURBANCE

On January 11, 2019, an officer received a report of harassment in the 4900 block of Nelson Road. All involved parties were identified and an investigation resulted in a warning for a juvenile male and a summons for another juvenile male. This case is cleared by arrest.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On January 12, 2019, at approximately 2258 hours, Longmont police conducted a traffic stop in the 00 block of Baker Street. An adult male was taken into custody. This case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

On January 13, 2019, Longmont police took a report of a shoplift in the 1200 block of South Hover Street. An adult female was contacted and issued a summons for theft. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 1/13/19, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a domestic incident that occurred in the 700 Block of Emery Street involving one adult male and one adult female. This case is closed by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 1/14/19, Longmont officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on the report of a trespass. An adult male was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. This case is cleared by arrest.

FOLLOW-UP

On Monday, 1/14/19, the Longmont Police Department began investigating an adult male for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On 1/14/19, Longmont officers responded to the 1800 block of Main Street on the report of a crash. An adult male involved in the crash was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. This case is cleared by arrest.

MENACING

On Monday, January 14, 2019, Longmont police took a phone call regarding a menacing due to a road rage incident. The suspects are unknown and the case will be closed.
