CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief in the 00 block of Ash Court. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft in the 700 block of Baker Street. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported a theft in the 1600 block of Ironhorse Drive. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

SHOPLIFT

On Friday, January 11, 2019, at approximately 0445 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to a shoplift in progress in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. This case is open pending suspect identification.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

On 1/11/19, at approximately 1035 hours, officers responded to the 2200 block of Main Street to investigate a report of a hit-and-run accident involving two vehicles. This case is closed, summons issued.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On Friday, 1/11/19, at approximately 1143 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded on a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Mountain View Avenue and Harvard Street. One adult male died as a result of injuries from the crash. This case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Friday, 1/11/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Purdue Street and Ash Court in reference to two unknown juveniles throwing rocks through a vehicle's windows. Officers were unable to locate the suspects or victim. This case is closed due to a lack of leads.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

On 1/11/19, officers with the Longmont Police Department arrested an adult male in the 1300 block South Coffman Street due to an outstanding arrest warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On January 11, 2019, officers arrested an adult male at the Longmont Police Department on a prior outstanding arrest warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

On Friday 1/11/19, at approximately 2230 hours, police responded to the 100 block South Main street in relation a vicious dog (dog bite). The report will be unfounded.

CHILD

On January 11, 2019, officers responded to the lobby of the Longmont Police Department on a family disturbance. An informational report was taken. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, January 12, 2019, at approximately 0005 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Main Street on a domestic incident in progress. An adult female was arrested. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On January 12, 2019, Longmont police officers were patrolling in the area of 3rd Avenue and Kimbark Street. They contacted a suspicious vehicle in the area that was occupied by an adult male. Through their investigation it was learned the male had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident. This case is cleared by arrest.

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft and attempted forgery in the 2500 block of Main Street. This case is closed due to a lack of viable suspect information.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

On 1/12/19, animal control responded to a possibly abandonment case involving a puppy, the case is on going.

SHOPLIFT

On Saturday 01/12/19, Longmont officers were dispatched to 1200 block of Hover Street on a shoplift. This case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Saturday, January 12, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 1000 block of Hover Street for juveniles throwing rocks at cars. A group of juveniles were contacted and one admitted to hitting vehicles with rocks. Summons issued and cleared by arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On Saturday, 1/12/19, at approximately 2146 hours, police responded to the 300 block of 15th Avenue in relation to a disturbance. This report is generated for informational purposes only.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Saturday, 1/13/19, Longmont police officers responded to the area of Clover Basin Drive and Nelson Road in reference to a domestic violence incident. An adult male was contacted and later arrested without incident.

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, 1/13/19, at approximately 1855 hours, police conducted a traffic stop. An adult male was arrested on warrant. The case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 1/14/19, Longmont police responded to the Journey Shelter located in the 2000 block of Pike Road on a report of an adult female possibly overdosing on unknown substances. After an investigation, it was determined the female had been in contact with a male who is restrained from her. This case is open pending the arrest of the male party. The female was transported to a hospital and placed on a mental health hold.

TRAFFIC STOPĀ 

On Friday, January 11, 2019, Longmont police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street. The vehicle was towed and the 48 year-old male driver was summonsed for traffic related charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

ASSIST

On January 11, 2019, Longmont police responded to an apartment complex on Copper Peak Lane on a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was discovered to be stolen out of Boulder and was later released to the owner. This case is closed as the theft occurred in Boulder and it is their jurisdiction.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

On January 12, 2019, Longmont police responded to a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the 1300 block of Trail Ridge Road sometime the previous night. This case is closed with no suspects or workable leads.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On January 12, 2019, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a criminal mischief in the 3000 block of Nelson Road. A storage unit door sustained damage from an unknown suspect. This case is closed.

DUI

On 1/12/19, officers stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Main Street on traffic related charges. After investigation, an adult male was arrested on a warrant as well as drug and alcohol related charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On Sunday, January 13, 2019, the Longmont Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 3700 block of Findlay Lane. There are no suspects at this time. This case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On January 13, 2019, at approximately 1013 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 800 block of South Gay Street on the report of a car break-in. This case will be closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bitten while breaking up a dog fight in the 1200 block alley between Aspen Street and Venice Street. The dog owner was warned and the dog placed on quarantine at home.

DISTURBANCE

On Sunday, January 13, 2019 at approximately 1417 hours, officers responded to the 1700 block of Main Street for the report of a disturbance. This case is cleared by summons.

DISTURBANCE

Longmont Police received information about a roommate disturbance. This report is for documentation purposes.

TRAFFIC STOP

On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at about 1900 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department were conducting traffic patrol at the intersection 17th Avenue and Heirloom Way. A white sedan was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver had two active warrants

out for his arrest. The driver was taken into custody and later transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is closed by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, Longmont officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Hover Street on a theft. One adult male was taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

SHOPLIFT

On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at approximately 1950 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulebard on a juvenile male shoplifter in custody.

Officers assisted in locating a parent for the juvenile. The business declined to prosecute and the juvenile was released to their parent. This case is exceptionally cleared.

SHOPLIFT

On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at approximately 0720 hours, an unidentified adult female exited a business without paying for approximately $970.00 dollars worth of merchandise. The female entered a Chevy Camaro driven by an unknown male. The suspects have not been identified and the case is currently closed.
