Longmont Police Report: Jan. 24, 2020

FRAUD

A Longmont resident reported fraud in the 1200 block of Meadow Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

THEFT

An Ohio resident reported theft in the 1000 block of South Hover Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident repoted criminal tampering in the 700 block of South Martin Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday, 01-24-2020, Longmont Police received a report of a vehicle that had just been stolen from the area of the 00 blk of Nome Ct. Officer canvassed the area but the vehicle was not located.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On January 24, 2020, officers responded to the 900 block of Pratt Pkwy. on a report of a welfare check. An adult male was arrested for domestic violence and harassment against an adult female, and the case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 012220 the Longmont Police Department took a report of a protection order violation which occurred in the 000 block of 3rd Avenue. An adult female reported she had been contacted by an adult male who was restrained in a protection order. This case is under investigation.

DEATH

On Thursday, 01-24-2020, Longmont Police investigated a non-criminal death of an adult male in the 2200 blk of Pratt St. There is nothing suspicious and no reason to suspect foul play.

DISTURBANCE

On 01/23/2020 (Thursday) at approximately 1347 hours, Officers responded to the 2200 block of Daley Drive on the report of an adult female who might be suicidal. Officers placed in protective custody and had her transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On 1-24-20 at 0004 hrs., an officer located a vehicle parked near the intersection of Pikes Peak Pl and Lashley. The car had fictitious plates which were seized and the car was tagged as a junked vehicle.

THEFT

On Friday, 01/24/20, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 900 Blk. of Lashley St. The case is under investigation

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 01/24/2020 Longmont Police took a call of a disturbance between an adult male and an adult female in the area of S. Fordham St. and Ceran Ave. An adult male was contacted and later arrested for domestic violence related charges. Case cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On Friday, 01/24/20, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 1200 Blk. of S. Hover St. The suspects are unknown.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident reported fraud in the 1200 block of Pace Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, 01/24/2020, Longmont Police investigated a domestic incident in the 1200 block of Francis St. There was no arrest made. This report if for informational purposes.

HARASSMENT

On 01/24/2020 Longmont Police recieved a report from an elderly female who reported ongoing harassment and theft issues involving her adult male son in the 1400 block of 9th Ave. This report is for informational purposes only at this point and has been forwarded to social services and detectives for information.

SHOPLIFT

On January 24th, 2020, Officers responded to the 500 BLK of S. Hover Street on report of a theft from a business. One adult female was contacted. She was issued a summons for theft and false reporting. Case cleared by arrest-Summons issued.

SHOPLIFT

On January 24, 2020, the Longmont Police Department investigated a shoplifting in the 2200 block of E. Ken Pratt Boulevard. This case is open.

WARRANT ARREST

On Friday, January 24, 2020, at approximately 1430 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2200 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd., on a shoplift. An adult female was contacted and found to have an active warrant. The case is cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Friday, 01/24/2020, Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of Peck Dr and Nelson Rd in reference to a theft. An adult female was contact and a report was taken.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 01/24/2020, Longmont officers responded to the Longmont Police Department to speak with one adult female regarding domestic violence related charges. Case open pending further investigation.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On January 24, 2020 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 900 block of Longs Peak Ave. on a disturbance. An adult male was taken into custody and placed on a 72 hour Mental Health Hold.

DISTURBANCE

On January 24, 2020 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Ln on a disturbance. An 8 year old male was taken to the hospital and placed on a 72 hour mental health hold.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, 01/24/2020 Longmont Police Officers took a report of possible domestic by phone.

FRAUD

On Janurary 24, 2020, at approximately 1900 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 800 block of East 17th on a fraud. Case is closed due to no further leads.

THEFT

On 01/24/2020, Longmont officers took a phone call of a theft in the 1700 block of Meadow St.
