Longmont Police Report - February 9-10, 2019

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

An employee of a Longmont business reported criminal mischief in the 1500 block of Main Street. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect
information.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/8/19, Longmont officers responded to the 2000 block of Sunlight Drive in reference to an extra patrol request. After a vehicle contact, a juvenile male was found to have a warrant for his arrest. This case was cleared by arrest.

DUI

On February 9, 2019, the Longmont Police Department contacted a suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard. An adult male was taken into custody for DUI and found to have three warrants for his arrest. This case was cleared by arrest.


BURGLARY

On Saturday, February 9, 2019 at about 0232 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Main Street on a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers arrested an adult male for 2nd degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of less than 3 grams of
methamphetamines, and criminal attempt. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case was cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION

On 2/9/19 at approximately 1700 hours, Longmont police officers responded to the 1300 block of Sharpe Place on a report of a disturbance. Officers investigated and all findings were documented. This case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On Friday 2/8/19, Longmont officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Main Street on a report of an auto theft. Two adult males were taken into custody. This case was cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

On Friday, February 8, 2019 at about 2142 hours, Longmont police contacted a vehicle in the 2000 block of Countess Court on a complaint of people smoking marijuana in the vehicle. Upon arrival officers cited an adult female with possessing an open container of marijuana in the, vehicle. This case was cleared by arrest- summons issued.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Saturday February 9, 2019 at approximately 0622 hours, officers responded to the 1000 block of Hover Street for the report of a restraining order violation. This case was cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/9/19, Longmont police responded to a residence in the 100 block of East 6th Avenue in reference to a possible wanted juvenile male. A juvenile male was contacted and arrested for multiple warrants. This case was cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by a dog while visiting a residence. The dog was quarantined at home.

MEDICAL LONGMONT PD LAW

On Saturday, February 9, 2019, Longmont Police and Fire responded on a medical assist in the 700 block of Buchanan Lane. An adult female was found unconscious and unresponsive. The female was assisted in regaining consciousness. This case is closed.

CHILD

On February 9, 2019, the Longmont Police Department investigated a report of child exploitation in the 1100 block of Rodriguez Court which reportedly occurred in 2016. This case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 2/9/19, officers responded to the 700 block of 9th Avenue on a report of a vandalism in progress. Officers were able to find the adult male and issue him a summons for the damage he made. This case was cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On February 9, 2019, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 300 block of 17th Avenue on a fraud. This case is closed.

MITTIMUS ARREST

On Satuday, February 9, 2019, officers responded to the 200 block of Main Street in reference to an escape. This case was investigated and a warrant
was issued for the arrest of the male suspect.

THEFT

On Sunday, February 10, 2019 at approximately 0822 hours, officers took a report of a stolen license plate in the 700 block of Kimbark Street. This case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On 2/10/2019 at approximately 1543 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of an injury accident in the 600 block of Missouri Avenue. After an initial investigation it was determined the incident was an auto theft. A suspect was contacted and arrested on multiple charges related to the incident.

RECOVERED VEHICLE

On Sunday, 2/10/19, police recovered a stolen trailer in the 300 block of South. The trailer was originally stolen from an outside agency. This case is closed.

THEFT

On Sunday, 2/10/19, police investigated a report of a cold theft in the 2000 block of Pike Road. Police documented their findings. This case is closed.

THEFT

On Friday, February 8, 2019 at approximately 1235 hours, officers responded to the 1100 block of Main Street for the report of a theft. This case is closed, cleared by summons.

FOUND PROPERTY

On Friday 2/8/19, Longmont officers found property in the jail. Property was booked. This case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On February 9, 2019 at approximately 0845 hours, Longmont police officers conducted a traffic stop on Ken Pratt Boulevard and Main Street. The adult male driver had an active warrant, and was placed under arrest. This case is closed, cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On February 9, 2019, Longmont police investigated a protection order violation over Facebook. This case is open pending further investigation.

INFORMATION

On February 9, 2019, at approximately 1130 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to contact a party about possible threats being made. No charges being filed at this time.

CHILD

On 2/9/19, Longmont officers took a report of a child abuse case involving one adult male, one adult female, and two juvenile males. This case is under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/10/19, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 21st Avenue and Terry Street. An adult female was arrested. This case is cleared by arrest.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont juvenile was bitten by a dog in the area of Deerwood Drive and Mountain View Avenue. The juvenile did not realize he was bitten
until he arrived home. No information on the bite dog at this time.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont male was bitten by the family cat in the 1700 block of Grove Court. The cat was placed on quarantine at home.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont juvenile was bitten by the family dog. The dog was surrendered to the Longmont Humane Society and placed on quarantine.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/10/19 at approximately 1700 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Charles Drive. Officers located an individual with a warrant from an outside agency. This case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On February 10, 2019, Longmont police responded to the report of a domestic incident in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. An adult male and female were spoken to and it was determined that no crime happened in the Longmont city limits. This case is forwarded to the Johnstown Police
Department for follow-up.

THEFT

On February 10, 2019, Longmont police officers responded to the 1400 block of Burlington Drive on the report of a theft. This case is open pending
further investigation.
