Longmont Police Report: February 20, 2018

DUI On Monday, 02/19/18 at approximately 2324 hours, Longmont Police discovered a wrecked and occupied vehicle in the 9800-block of N 119th St, City of Longmont.

DUI

On Monday, 02/19/18 at approximately 2324 hours, Longmont Police discovered a wrecked and occupied vehicle in the 9800-block of N 119th St, City of Longmont. The adult male driver of the vehicle was arrested for DWAI and narcotics charges, and he was later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

WARRANT ARREST

On 2/20/18, an officer contacted a wanted person on S. Main Street and Quail Road. This case was cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

On 2-20-18 at 0157 hours, an unknown suspect stole a truck that was "puffing" on private property in the 900 block of Main St with the assistance of a second unknown suspect in a black car. At 0210 hours, the same suspects used the truck to try and push over an ATM in the 700 block of 21st Avenue. The case is open, referred to investigations.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On February 20, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Emery Street on a domestic violence-related disturbance. One adult female was arrested for multiple felony charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION

On Tuesday February 20, 2018 at approximately 1100 hours an officer took a report for informational purposes reference an incident which occurred in the 1900 block of Mountain View Ave.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 02/20/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 500 Blk. of 3rd Ave. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

RECOVERED VEHICLE

On Tuesday 02/20/18, Longmont Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of Warren Ave. The case is closed.

FRAUD

On Tuesday, 02/20/18, Longmont Police responded to Gas A Mat, located at 301 Martin Street, on a female trying to use counterfeit money. She was later contacted and information obtained. No charges are being filed and this case is being closed.

SEX ASSAULT

On Tuesday 02/20/2018 at 1121 hours a Longmont Police Officer took a report of a sexual assault which took place in the 1900 block of Longs Peak Avenue on Saturday 02/17/2018. This case is open and referred to the Longmont Police Detective Division for follow up.

AUTO THEFT

On Tuesday, 02/20/18, a report was taken reference an attempted aggravated auto theft and a criminal mischief which occurred on E. Mountain View Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

SEX ASSAULT

On Tuesday, February 20, 2018 officers took a report of a possible sexual assault in the 600 block of Peck Dr. Case open pending further investigation.

DUI

On 02/18/2018 Longmont police responded to the 1600 block of Main St., reference a reported hit & run accident. A vehicle struck a pick-up in the parking lot and left the scene without exchanging information or contacting the police. The suspect vehicle was located, and after a brief attempt to elude officers, was stopped in the 1700 block of Main St. The adult male driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol, was taken into custody without incident, and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 02/20/18, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 1200 Blk. of Pace St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

FRAUD

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 800 block of S. Hover Street reported a theft of merchandise. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

BURGLARY

Longmont Police responded to the 1000 block of Lee Way on a report of a burglary. A report was completed.

SHOPLIFT

On Tuesday, February 20, 2018 Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to a shoplift. An 18 year old female was served a summons for theft. The case was cleared by the arrest (summons only).

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 1822 hours, Longmont Police responded to an assist in the 2100 block of Ridgeview Way. A 32 year old female was placed on a mental health hold and transported to a local facility for evaluation. This case is closed and is non-criminal.

]WARRANT ARREST

On 02/20/2018, Longmont Police responded to the area near the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. in Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, referencing a subject with a warrant. Upon contact, the subject was positively identified and taken into custody without incident for (2) felony warrants. The subject was processed at the Longmont Police Department and later transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

TRESPASS

On Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 2000 hours, Longmont Police investigated a trespass in the 1900 block of Mountain View Ave. A 37-year-old male was arrested and transported to jail. This case is cleared by arrest.
