Longmont Police Report: February 19, 2018

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 2200 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd. reported a theft of merchandise by a known suspect. The case status is open and a warrant has been issued.

FRAUD

On Monday, 02/19/2018 at about 940 AM officers responded to a report of a fraud which had previously occurred in the 2200 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd in the City of Longmont, County of Weld and State of Colorado. Two suspects used forged currency to obtain cash and goods from a retailer. Case open.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Monday, February 19, 2018 a Longmont resident reported a suspicious incident that occurred to him in one of the Longmont Hospitals while he was a patient. This report was taken for information purposes only and the case is closed.

THEFT

On Monday 02/19/2018 at approximately 1156 hours Longmont PD was called to a theft. Case closed with limited suspect information.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday 02/19/18, Longmont Police took a report of a possible protection order violation which occurred in the 1400 block of S Collyer St. The case is open.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday February 19, 2018 at approximately 1420 hours an adult male was arrested in the lobby of the Longmont Police Department on an outstanding warrant. The male was released on bond.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 02/18/2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a medical assist call for a possible juvenile female that was attempting to commit suicide. The female was transported to the hospital and placed on a mental health hold. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, February 19, 2018 officers responded to a domestic situation in the 700 block of Baker St. After investigation there was no evidence of a crime. Case closed.

WELFARE CHECK

On February 18, 2018, Longmont Police were dispatched to perform a welfare check in the 800 Block of Grandview Meadows Drive. An adult male was contacted and information was gathered. This case will be forwarded to Adult Protective Services. Report taken for informational purposes.

DEATH

On Sunday February 18, 2018, at approximately 0510 hours, the Longmont Police Department was dispatched to a death investigation on the 2400 block of Pratt St. The case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On February 18, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Kimbark St. on a report of a criminal trespass of a vehicle. No suspects were located. Due to lack of evidence this case is closed.

SHOTS HEARD

On February 18, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Hackberry Circle on the report of a disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male who had discharged a firearm into the air. The adult male was issued a summons to appear. Case cleared by arrest/summons.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On February 17, 2018, Longmont officers investigated a possible harassment in the 2000 block of Nelson Rd. It was reported that an adult female and an adult male were involved in an ongoing harassment. After completing an investigation a warrant was issued for the adult female. Case exceptionally cleared/warrant issued.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 021918, officers responded to an address in the 2100 block of Lincoln St on a report of a Domestic Incident in progress. There is no probable cause at this time and the case will be closed until further probable cause exists.

ASSAULT

On 02-19-18 a Longmont resident reported an assault by several people. The case was closed due to lack of evidence and witnesses.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 2/18/18, officers responded to the 2200 block of Watersong Cir on the report of a physical domestic violence incident. An adult male was placed into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.
