Monday, December 23

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont, CO resident in the 800 block of Delaware reported his vehicle stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Monday, December 23, 2019, at about 0747 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a criminal mischief at the 1600 block of Hover Street.

FRAUD

On 12/23/2019 around 1430 hours officers responded to the 1600 block of Pace Street on a fraud in progress. Officers contacted multiple parties and arrests were made along with a report.

ASSAULT

On Monday, December 23, 2019, Officers responded to the 0000 block of 9th Ave regarding an assault.

INJURY ACCIDENT

DUI

On December 22, 2019, Longmont Police Officers were patrolling in the area of 2nd Ave and Main St. Officers contacted an adult female for a traffic violation in the area. It was later determined through the investigation that the female was under the influence. She was taken into custody without incident.

DUI

On Sunday December 22, 2019 at approximately 2256 hours, Longmont Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Hover St. An Adult male was arrested for DUI. Case is cleared by arrest.

ASSIST

On 12/22/2019, at approximately 2312 hours, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Main St, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, in reference to a possible escape from community corrections.

DEATH

On Monday, December 23, 2019 at approximately 0618 hours Longmont Police and Fire personnel responded to the 2000 block of McCall Pl on an adult male subject who was not concious or breathing. Life saving measures were taken, however the subject was pronounced deceased. There was nothing suspicious in reference to this case. Cause and manner of the death is yet to be determined by the Boulder County Coroner's Office.

HARASSMENT

On Monday, December 23, 2019 officers took a report of phone harassment that occurred in the 200 block of Collyer St.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, December 23, 2019, officers responded to the 500 block of S. Hover St in response to a shoplift. An investigation was conducted and the case is cleared by arrest, summons issued.

THEFT

On Monday December 23, 2019 Longmont officers received a call regarding a theft from the 1300 block of Holly Ave. There is no known suspect information at this time.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, December 23, 2019, at approximately 1840 hours, officers were notified of a theft at a business in the 500 block of South Hover Street. Two adult females were contacted and issued tickets for theft. The case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On December 23rd, 2019 at approximately 1938 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Airport Rd. Longmont, CO in reference to a possible assault.

Tuesday, December 24

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft in the 2400 block of 9th Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at about 0928 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief at the 2400 block of 9th Ave. No suspec leads at this time.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont, CO resident in the 2400 block of 9th Avenue reported a theft from her vehicle. There are no investigative leads.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident reported identity theft in the 700 block of Rees Court. This is a courtesy report only.

AUTO THEFT

On 12/24/2019, at approximately 0004 hours, officers were conducting routine patrol in the 800 block of S. Hover St, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, when they located a suspicious possible stolen vehicle.

WELFARE CHECK

On December 24, 2019 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Kimbark St. on a medical assist. An adult male was placed on a mental health hold.

THEFT

On Saturday, December 21, 2019 Longmont Police responded to a theft in the 500 blk of S. Hover St. Adult male attempted to steal a power bank charger. The store recovered their merchandise and the male was not located. Case is closed.

MITTIMUS ARREST

On 12/23/19 at 0950 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer was assigned a warrant arrest in the Longmont Municipal Court. An adult male was taken into custody on an active warrant. The adult male posted bond, was given a return court date, and released from custody. The case was cleared by arrest.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

Entered per summons.

DISTURBANCE

On Monday, December 23, 2019, at approximately 1555 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of East Ken Pratt on a juvenile male with a cut to his hand. There was also information that the juvenile might have make statements about harming himself. This was later determined to not be true. An informational report was completed to document the incident.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident reported forgery and theft in the 1300 block of Holly Avenue. This case is open.

LOST PROPERTY

WARRANT ARREST

On 12/23/2019, at approximately 2210 hours, officers were dispatched to a possible suspicious situation in the 1200 block of Meadow St, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado.

VICIOUS DOG

An adult female was bitten by the family dog while breaking up a dog fight in the 1300 block of Torrey Peak Drive. The dog was placed on home quarantine.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 122319 the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of 3rd Avenue and Arapahoe Drive on a criminal mischief. Two unknown suspects attempted to cut down a pine tree. The tree was later completely removed. No suspect leads have developed in this case.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 12/24/19, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass which occurred in the 1400 Blk. of Renaissance Dr. The suspects are unknown.

SEX ASSAULT

On Tuesday December 24th, 2019, at approximately 1400 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to contact a party by phone reference sex assault. Police contacted an adult female. The case is referred to detectives.

SEX ASSAULT

On Tuesday, December 24, 2019 Longmont Police took a phone report regarding a possible sex assault in the 900 blk of Sunset St. The case is open and under investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 12/24/19, an officer took a report regarding a possible restrianing order violation in the 400 block of Kensington St. It was determined to be unfounded.

Wednesday, December 25

DEATH

On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, officers responded to the 1000 block of Kane Dr in response to a death. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.

WARRANT ARREST

On 12/24/2019, Longmont officers responded to the 200 blk of Kimbark St. reference a party turning themselves in on a warrant for their arrest. Case cleared by arrest.

MEDICAL LONGMONT PD LAW

On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at approximately 2120 hours, officer responded to Longmont United Hospital on a report of possible elder abuse. The investigation determined that an elderly female fell after becoming intoxicated at her residence. No crime occurred.

DISTURBANCE

On Tuesday December 24th, 2019, at approximately 2200 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Meeker St. reference a disturbance. Police contacted multiple adults, both male and female and two juveniles, one male and one female. This report for information only.

DISTURBANCE

On Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at about 0400 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Duchess Drive on a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers found both parties had already left the area.

WELFARE CHECK

On 12/25/2019, at approximately 2321 hours, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Lashley St, City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado in reference to a welfare check on a possibly suicidal party.

DUI

On Wednesday 122519 at approximately 1106 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a cold crash that occurred around 0200 hours. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

SEX ASSAULT

On 12/25/2019 officers responded to a Hospital in Loveland,CO on a report of a sexual assault. Officers received information from Loveland Police Department that an adult female was sexual assaulted by an adult male inside the city of Longmont. This case will remain open for investigation and be forwarded to detectives for follow-up.

PROTECTION ORDER

On December 25, 2019, Longmont police officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Grandview Meadows Dr. Several adults were contacted, case is cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 12/25/2019 an adult female reported her backpack was stolen out of her unlocked vehicle in the 1900 block of Yeager Dr. There are no suspects or witnesses.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/25/2019 Longmont Police responded to the 3200 block of Lake Park Way on a report of an audible disturbance between a male and female. A report was taken and this case is closed.

Thursday, December 26

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident report first degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief in the 1100 block of East 17th Avenue. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Thursday, December 26, 2019, at about 0737 hours, Longmont PSTs handled a criminal trespass at the 1100 block of 17th Ave. No suspect leads at this time.

FRAUD

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 800 block of South Lincoln Street. This case is open.

SEX ASSAULT

On 12/26/19 Longmont Police responded to the 900 block of Grandview Meadows Dr. reference a reported unlawfuful sexual contact. This case is currently under investigation.

CHILD

Police are investigating a case of possible child abuse that was reported at day care on 12/19/19 in the 1200 block of Mountain Drive in which a 3 year old female had a bruise on her cheek. The case is under investigaition.

HARASSMENT

On Thursday, December 26, 2019, Longmont Police took a report of harassment. This case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/26/2019 around 1430 hours officers responded to a welfare check in the area of 400 S Hover Street. An incident was investigated and report filed.

WELFARE CHECK

On Thursday, December 26, 2019 Longmont Police responded to the 1300 blk of Ken Pratt Blvd on a suicidal male. He was placed on a M1 hold and transported to Longmont United Hospital. Cleared.

IDENTITY THEFT

On 12/26/2019 around 1830 hours officers responded to a lobby call of an identity theft which occured in the 300 block of Kimbark Street. A report was taken.

SHOPLIFT

On Thursday, 12/26/2019 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of 17th Ave and Hover St in reference to a possible shoplift. Officers contacted several juvenile males, and one was referred to Longmont Community Restorative Justice. Closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Thursday 12/26/2019 at approximately 0219 hours police responded to the area of 2nd Avenue and South Pratt parkway in relation to a suicidal party. An adult male was taken into protective custody on a mental health hold. The case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, December 26, 2019 at approximately 1025 hours Longmont Police investigated a domestic incident in the 700 block of Gay St.

DISTURBANCE

An adult male shoved his roommate who is also an adult male. The victim did not want to pursue charges.

WELFARE CHECK

On 12/26/19 an adult male was summoned for shoplifting and open container. The male made suicidal statements and was transported to LPH for a M1 hold.
