AUTO THEFT

A Longmont, CO resident in the 1300 block of Sumner Street reported an attempted steal of his vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

CHILD

on 08/06/2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a possible child abuse. upon arrival, officers were unable to develop any probable cause to charge any individuals with child abuse. A report was taken and passed along for follow up by detectives and DHHS.

PROTECTION ORDER

On August 7, 2018, Officers documented a case of violation of protection order and tampering with a witness. The case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On August 07, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 700 block of Meeker St. An adult male reported his vehicle was left unlocked and an unknown person entered it during the night. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Sunday, 8/5/18, at approximately 2:40 AM, a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Coffman street had a tire damaged. The case is open.

LOST PROPERTY

On August 07, 2018 a lost property report was received from the 1600 block of Kimbark Street. An adult female reported a lost wallet. Case closed.

THEFT

On August 07, 2018 a theft report was received from the 2200 block of Main Street. An adult male reported his IPad was stolen. The IPad was later located. Case closed.

FRAUD

On Tuesday, 08/07/18, a report was taken reference a forgery and theft which occurred in the 1100 Blk. of Lincoln St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

CRIM MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS

On August 07, 2018 a criminal mischief report was received from the 700 block of Main Street. An adult male reported the sidewall of one of his tires was punctured. There is no suspect information. Case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, August 08th 2018, Officers responded to the 2100 block of Gay Street on a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted a male party who had a warrant. That party was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

On Sunday, 08-05-2018, Longmont Police received numerous reports of vehicles with slashed tires in various locations in the city. There is no suspect information and this case will be closed.

On 08/05/2018, Longmont Police responded to the area of the 800 blk of Kimbark St. regarding a cold criminal mischief report. Police responded and collected the information. At this time, no suspects have been arrested and the case is currently closed.

On 08/05/2018, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to a possible restraining order violation. An adult female was found to be violation a protection order and was taken to the Boulder County Jail.

MENACING

On 08/06/2018 at approximately 1930 hours, Longmont Police Officers responded to the report of a family disturbance in the 1200 block of Pace St. This case was cleared by arrest.

On August 6, 2018, Longmont Police Officers responded to the 700 block of Emery St reference a cold criminal mischief. It was reported that an unknown suspect damaged several vehicles in the area. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

On 08/05/2018, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Ionosphere St. regarding a cold criminal mischief report. Police responded and collected the information. At this time, no suspects have been identified. Case is closed.

On 080718 at approximately 0059 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Tulip St. on a vehicle trespass. Case is closed.

On Tuesday 080718 at approximately 0135 hours, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a cold vehicle trespass in the 2300 block of Tulip Way. Case is closed.

THEFT

A Longmont, CO resident in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue reported a theft of fishing equipment. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

TRESPASS

On Tuesday 08/07/18, Longmont Police responded to the 1400 block of Dry Creek Dr reference a trespasser. An adult male was issued a trespass summons. The case is cleared.

MENACING

On August 7, 2018, at approximately 1717 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 300 block of Main St for a menacing that had just occurred. An investigation was conducted. Case closed like a suspect information.

SHOTS HEARD

On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, Police were investigating gunshots heard near Wedgewood Ave/Harvard St. Attempt was made to contact a suspicious vehicle but it took off. The case is currently closed with no ID on the driver.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, officers responded to the 300 block of Quail Rd in regards to an adult male violating a protection order. Officers attempted contact at the residence and the male was not found. A couple of witnesses stated they watched the male enter the residence. Open -pending arrest warrant.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCID

On 8/6/18, officers responded to the 600 block of Alpine St on the report of a property damage accident. An adult male fled the scene but was later contacted. This case is cleared by arrest.
