Longmont Police Report: August 29, 2018

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS On August 29th, 2018, a vehicle trespass report was received from the 1300 block of Garden Circle. An adult male reported vehicles were entered. Property was stolen and recovered. Case closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On August 29th, 2018, a vehicle trespass report was received from the 1300 block of Garden Circle. An adult male reported vehicles were entered. Property was stolen and recovered. Case closed.

DISTURBANCE

On August 29, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Flagstaff Drive on a physical disturbance. One adult male was arrested for assault and menacing. This case is cleared by arrest.

ROBBERY

On August 29, 2018 Longmont officers were dispatched to a business Robbery in the 600 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. An adult male entered the business and demanded, by threat of a handgun, all of the prescription narcotic painkiller Oxycodone. The male was given the items and left the store. He was located and arrested a short time after leaving the store. He was charged with several Aggravated Robbery related charges. This case is Cleared by Arrest.

RECOVERED VEHICLE

On Wednesday (08/29/18) at approximately 0823 hours, officers received a report of a recovered stolen vehicle in the 000 block of Peck Dr.

MISSING PERSON

On 082918, the Longmont Police department took a report of a missing adult male from the Applewood Living Center at 1800 Stroh Pl. The male was entered into CCIC as missing. Case is closed until further leads develop.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Police responded to the 2600 block of Danbury Dr on a report of possible extortion. A female victim is reporting a large sum of money being held by an adult male. The case is open pending further investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On 08/29/2018, at approximately 2010 hours, Longmont Police located an adult male in the 900 block of Main Street who had active warrants for his arrest. The case was cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

On August 26, 2018 Longmont officers contacted two adult males in the west alley of Main Street in the 400 block in reference to them being witnessed using narcotics. One of the adult males was found to have narcotics on his person and also had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and charged. This case is Cleared by Arrest.

CIVIL

On Tuesday August 28th, 2018, at approximately 2130 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to contact a party by phone reference a dealership vehicle having not been returned after a test drive. Police contacted an adult male and an adult female. The vehicle has been returned. This report for information only. Closed.

DISTURBANCE

On 8-28-18, officers responded to a family disturbance between a 16 year old female and her mother. Charges were not warranted and a referral to the Department of Health and Human Services will be made. Exceptionally Cleared.

THEFT

On Wednesday 082918 at approximately 0456 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a theft in the 1700 block of Main St. Case closed.

CHILD

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Police were notified of an injured child on the 1700 block of Trevor Ct. Child protection services requested assistance during the interview. An information report was completed with no criminal charges.

THEFT

On 083018, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Coffman St reference a theft. An adult female reported the possible theft of narcotics by an unknown suspect. The case is open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, 08/29/2018 Longmont Police officers responded to the area of Quebec Ave and S Collyer St in reference to a criminal mischief which had just occurred. The adult male victim was contacted and a report was taken. Case Closed - Lack of Leads

THEFT

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Longmont Police took a report of a trespas and theft in the 1600 block of Kimbark. No known suspects at this time. Case closed.

FRAUD

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018 Longmont Police responded to a call in the lobby of the police department of a possible fraud. About $3000 was stolen from the victim's checking account. Case is open and under investigation.

MISSING PERSON

On 083018, Officers responded to the 3800 block of Columbia Dr reference a missing adult male. The case is closed.

FRAUD

On Wednesday, August 26th, 2018 Longmont Police took a walk in report of an identity theft incident at the Longmont Police Station. This case remains open for further follow up.

HARASSMENT

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Longmont Police took a report of stalking in the 1900 block of Meadow Dr. An unidentified male is suspect. Case open.
