FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported first degree criminal trespass and theft in the 400 block of Emery Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

LOST PROPERTY

A Longmont resident reported a lost license plate in the 1500 block of Sherri Mar Street. This case is for information purposes only.

THEFT 

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 2400 block of Emery Street. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

MENACING

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at approximately 2155 hours, officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Sunset Drive on a family disturbance. The investigation determined that an adult male threatened his step-brother with a knife and grabbed his mother by the neck when she tried to intervene. When officers arrived the male fled on foot but was eventually located and taken into custody. The case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 8/28/19, Longmont police contacted a wanted party in the 1700 block of Main Street. The party attempted to flee from officers on foot. After a short pursuit, he was taken into custody. He was confirmed to have two warrants for his arrest. He was later transported to Boulder County Jail.

BURGLARY

On August 28, 2019, a burglary report was received from the 1400 block of 10th Avenue. An adult male reported his garage was entered and several tools were stolen from inside.

SEX ASSAULT

On 8/28/19, the Longmont Police Department was notified about a possible sexual assault involving juveniles over the summer. The known facts in this case have been examined and the case is closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On Wednesday, 8/28/19 at 1010 hours, Longmont Police Officers took a 49-year-old man into protective custody in the 2000 block of Sunset Way. This case is closed with no active leads.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 8/28/19 at 1156 hours, Longmont police officers investigated a sexual assault, domestic violence, and assault in the third degree which took place in the 1900 block of Meadow Drive. A 22-year-old man was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD 

On Wednesday, 8/28/19, an information report was taken in the 700 block of 21st Avenue. The case is under investigation.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at approximately 13:26 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Pratt Parkway to investigate a criminal trespass of a vehicle.

ASSAULT

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, Longmont police took a report of an assault in the area of 2nd Avenue and Bowen Street. An unidentified male is suspect.

CHILD

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at about 1854 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Main Street on a report of a young child wearing a diaper walking around not supervised. Upon arrival officers found the child was back with his father.

DISTURBANCE

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, police responded to the 2500 block of 3rd Avenue on a disturbance. Five adults were in a verbal disturbance reference family issues. After an investigation, everyone was released and the incident was documented.

DUI

On 8/27/19, officers responded to the 1500 block of Harvard Street in reference to a drunk driver. An adult male was arrested. The case is cleared by arrest.

BURGLARY

On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, officers responded to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard in response to a burglary. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On or about August 28, 2019, Longmont police received information regarding narcotics activity within the City of Longmont. The case remains open.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday, August 28 2019 at approximately 11:27 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 600 block of Lashley Street for a restraining order violation.

HARASSMENT

On August 28, 2019 at approximately 1226 hours, the Longmont Police Department took a report of an adult male using inappropriate language with an adult female in the 2200 block of Main Street. The male was giving a warning regarding his behavior in public.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 8/28/19, Police and Code Enforcement began a residential marijuana growing compliance investigation in the 1900 block of Sweeney Place. This case is currently open.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 8/28/19, Longmont police officers responded to the Longmont Police Department in reference to a possible sex assault. An adult female was contacted and a report was taken.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, Longmont officers responded to the Longmont Police Department on a reported harassment. This investigation is on-going.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 2500 block of Main Street. This case is open.

VICIOUS DOG

On Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1836 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1000 block of South Coffman Street in reference to a dog bite. The dog has been quarantined and the owner was issued a warning. This case is exceptionally cleared.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 8/28/19, Longmont police officers responded to the Longmont Police Department in reference to a possible sex assault. An adult female was contacted and a report was taken.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 8/28/19, a vehicle trespass and criminal mischief was reported in the 2300 block of Gay Street. Police are investigating a named suspect.
