PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday, August 20, 2018 Longmont Police Officers took a report of a violation of protection orders. This case remains open for further investigation.

SEX ASSAULT

On August 21, 2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the Longmont Police Department in reference to a cold sex assault. This case is open for further investigation.

DEATH

On 08/20/2018 Longmont Police and Fire Department personnel responded to the 400 block of Ridge Ave., reference a death investigation. An adult male had been found unconscious and unresponsive by his roommate. Medical personnel were unable to revive the male, and he was pronounced dead on scene. This case is under investigation.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On August 21st, 2018, Officers responded to the 2400 BLK of Sunset Street on report of vehicle trespass that had just occurred. Due to lack of further suspect information, this case will be closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Tuesday, 08/21/18 at approximately 0304 hours, Longmont Police contacted a male in a parked vehicle in the 800 block of Delaware Ave. The male had two active warrants for his arrested and was arrested without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT 05C18

On August 21, 2018, an auto theft report was received from the 1500 block of Main Street. An adult male reported a vehicle was stolen from his lot. There is no suspect information.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 08/21/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 700 Blk. of Main St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday, 08/21/2018, a 26 year old female was arrested in Kensington Park for violating a protection order that was issued for previous domestic violence arrest. She was transported to Boulder County Jail.

FRAUD

On August 21, 2018 a fraud report was received from the 2200 block of Ridgeview Way. An adult female reported a loan account was set up using her personal information. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by a neighbor's loose dog in the alley of the 900 block of Corey Street. The dog owner was warned and the dog was placed on quarantine at home.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday 08-21-2018, Officers investigated a domestic incident in the 00 block of 9th Ave. An adult male was arrested on DV harassment charges and taken to the Boulder County Jail. Cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, Police responded to the 2500 block of Main St on an injury accident. During the investigation, an adult female driver showed indicators of being under the influence of alcohol. The female was later arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail.

SHOPLIFT

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at approximately 2020 hours, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Hover Street on a juvenile shoplifter. The juvenile was referred to the restorative justice program and the case is exceptionally cleared.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday, August 21st, 2018, at around 20:49 hours, Longmont Police responded to the area of 1100 Mountain View Ave. on a report of a domestic incident. Probable cause for an arrest was not established and the case is closed.

THEFT

On Tuesday, 08/21/2018 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of Ute Highway and Main St in reference to a theft. No suspects were identified. Case Closed - Lack of Leads.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

On 07/24/2018 Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Main St on a Hit and Run incident involving a parked vehicle. The case is open pending further investigation.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Monday, August 20, 2018, at approximately 0524 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to a possible burglary which occured in the 300 block of 1st Ave., between Friday, August 17, 2018, and Monday, August 20, 2018. A lock was cut and the property was accessed through the gate. It is unknown at this time if any items were taken. The case is currently closed due to lack of suspect information.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On 8-20-2018 Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to Sunshine Ave and E County Line Rd reference an auto vs. pedestrian accident. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver remained on scene. The case is open pending further investigation.

CHILD

On August 20th, 2018, Officers responded to the 1900 BLK of Mccall Place, reference a welfare check of two children. This case was forwarded to the Department of Housing and Human Services. Case closed.

DEATH

On 08/21/2018 at approximately 0830 hours, Longmont Police Officers investigated an unattended death of a 79 year old male in the 2200 block of Main St. This case is closed with no active leads.

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD

On 08/21/18 at approximately 1100 hours, Longmont Police Officer responded to the 400 block of 4th Ave to take a report about a computer being used to access explicit websites. This case was forwarded to investigations for further follow up.

LITTERING

On Tuesday, 08/21/2018 at approximately 1300 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 300 block of Main St. in response to a littering issue. An adult male was given a summons for littering and placed on a mental health hold. This case is cleared by arrest-summons issued.

WARRANT ARREST

On August 21st, 2018 at approximately 1230 hours, I, Officer Arvisais, conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Main Street Longmont, CO. A juvenile man was arrested on outstanding warrants.

FRAUD

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 1448 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd reference a fake $20.00 bill. The 18-year-old male suspect was contacted and was unaware the money was fake. This case is unfounded.

INFORMATION

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at approximately 1530 hours, officers contacted an adult male in the lobby of the police department. The male was having alcohol withdraws and believed people were following him. The investigation revealed that he was not being followed. An information report was completed to document the incident. The case is closed.

THEFT

On 8/21/18, at approximately 1723 hours a Longmont resident called to report a theft of a bag from his bicycle in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. An adult male suspect was issued a municipal summons for theft and the case is closed.
