DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On August 19, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Flemming Drive in response to a domestic in progress. A 42-year-old female was arrested for domestic violence related charges.

THEFT

A Longmont  resident reported his backpack was stolen from a business located in the 2200 block of Main Street.

DUI

On 8/18/19, Longmont police responded to a single vehicle accident in the 1300 block of 15th Avenue. Witnesses reported multiple parties fled from the vehicle, which had struck a tree and an electrical power box. Upon police arrival, the owner of the vehicle was located on scene still. He was later determined to be the driver of the vehicle and was arrested on vehicular assault and DUI charges. The passengers in the vehicle who fled were all apprehended a short while later. One of the passengers assaulted a police officer before being placed in custody. That passenger was also found to be suffering from serious bodily injury as a result of the car wreck. Case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday, August 19, 2019 at approximately 1030 hours, a juvenile turned himself in on an outstanding municipal warrant. He was booked and released on bond.

WARRANT ARREST

On 8/19/19, Longmont police conducted an extra patrol in the area of the 300 block of 15th Avenue and observed two suspicious vehicles parked at the rear of the properly. Officers made contact and arrested one of the subjects contacted on a warrant. The subject was arrested and transported to Boulder County jail for booking. Case was closed by arrest.

THEFT

On August 19, 2019, a theft report was received from the 900 block of South Hover. An adult male reported his bike was stolen.

MEDICAL ASSIST

On Monday August 19, 2019 at 1954 hours, Longmont police officers responded to a male who was in a manic episode in the 1800 block of Stroh. The male was placed on a mental health hold.

INFORMATION

On Sunday, August 11, 2019, Longmont officers were in the area of the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard when a shoplift occurred. It is unknown at this time what was taken and there are no identifiable suspects.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 8/15/19 at about 0800 hours, officers discovered damage to several sections of a private fence in the 4900 block of Nelson Road. Three suspects were identified and issued cited into court reference the criminal mischief. Case was cleared by arrest.

DEATH

On August 18, 2019, Longmont police responded to the 300 block of Quail Road for a medical call of an adult male who not conscious and not breathing. Longmont fire Personnel arrived on scene and pronounced the male deceased. Longmont police detectives responded to the scene and conducted an investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, August 18, 2019, officers responded to the 2000 block of 9th Avenue in regards to a disturbance in progress. An adult male and female were involved in the disturbance, and the adult male was later arrested after the investigation was completed. Cleared by arrest.

LOST PROPERTY 

On Sunday, August 18, 2019, Longmont Police took a report of lost item.

On Sunday, August 18, 2019 at approximately 2011 hours, officers responded via phone to a call about lost property.

CHILD

On Sunday, August 18, 2019, Longmont police responded to the area of 16th Avenue and Hover Street for a juvenile male wandering alone. The juvenile was located and returned home. Once at home, the father was arrested on child abuse. Cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On August 18, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hover Street in response to a welfare check. A 43-year-old male was arrested for domestic violence related charges. Case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 08/19/19, Longmont officers responded to the 2100 block of Dexter Drive on a report of a domestic incident. This involved one adult male and one adult female. Neither party was arrested for domestic related charges.

WARRANT ARREST

On 8/19/19, Longmont officers responded to the 2100 block of Dexter Drive for a domestic incident. One adult female was arrested for warrants. Case cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On 8/19/19, Longmont police took a report of a possible theft of jewelry at a residence in the 600 block of Longs Peak Avenue. A report was taken and the case is open and under investigation.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, August 19, 2019, officers responded to the 1200 block of South Hover Street in response to a shoplifting. An investigation was conducted and the case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, 8/19/19, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of South Collyer Street in reference to a domestic incident. An adult male alleged an adult female threw a bottle at him. No arrests were made.
