AUTO THEFT

On Wednesday, 08/01/18, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft which occurred in the 1600 Blk. of Great Western Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at approximately 1519 hours, officers made a self-initiated traffic stop in the area of Nelson Rd and Korte Parkway for speeding. The vehicle was traveling east on Nelson Rd in the inside lane of Nelson Rd at 49mph. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a outstanding warrant. Case cleared by arrest.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday 080118 at approximately 2100 hours, the Longmont Police Department received a report of an unlawful sexual contact that occurred in the 400 block of 4th Ave earlier in the day. Case is open.

MISSING PERSON

On 08/01/2018, Longmont officers took a report of a missing person. An adult male was entered into the NCIC/CCIC database. Case closed.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 07/30/2018 at approximately 1722 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Emery Street on the report of a suicidal female. It was determined she was not suicidal but was a danger to herself based on her level of intoxication. The adult female was transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance then transported to a local detoxification unit.

VICIOUS DOG

A loose dog attacked a dog being walked by an owner in the area of 10th Avenue and Kimbark Street. The loose dog was caught by it's owner. The owner was issued a summons.

SHOPLIFT

The Longmont Police Department investigated a theft at Walmart, 2514 Main St. Case is cleared exceptionally and referred to the Longmont Police Department LEAD Program.

TRAFFIC STOP

On Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at approximately 2000 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Lashley Street. An adult male and female were cited. The case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 3/31/18, officers responded to the 200 block of Lashley St on a welfare check. An adult male was contacted and found to have four outstanding warrants. He was placed into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

The Longmont Police Department arrested an adult female on an outstanding warrant, and and adult male on Identity Theft charges in the 900 block of Longs Peak Av.

SEX ASSAULT

Longmont Police took a report of a possible sexual assault occurring approximately three years ago somewhere in Longmont. The case is under investigation.

SHOPLIFT

On Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at approximately 1455 hours, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street on a theft from a business. An adult female was contacted a short distance from the business and issued a summons for theft. The merchandise was recovered by the business. The case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On August 1, 2018, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of 14th Ave on the report of a disturbance. Several adult females were contacted and a report taken. This case is closed.

DISTURBANCE

On Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at approximately 1641 hours, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Saint Clair Avenue on a family disturbance. Officers contacted a thirteen year old juvenile male and his grandmother at the residence. The investigation determined that the juvenile's mother dropped him off at the residence the week before and the grandmother did not want the juvenile there. The mother's location is unknown. The juvenile was taken into protective custody and placed in emergency care by the Boulder Department of Housing and Human services. The case is closed.

THEFT

On 08/01/2018, Longmont Police responded to the area of 9th Ave and Martin St to take a report for a stolen bicycle. This investigation is still open.
