Longmont Police Report 12/25/18

SHOPLIFT On Monday, December 24, 2018, at approximately 1808 hours, officers were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of South Hover Street on a theft from a business. Suspects fled the scene as contact was being attempted at the business.

SHOPLIFT

On Monday, December 24, 2018, at approximately 1808 hours, officers were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of South Hover Street on a theft from a business. Suspects fled the scene as contact was being attempted at the business. Suspects have been identified and arrest warrants are being obtained. This case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/24/18, at 2306 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of South Collyer Street. An adult male was arrested and the matter is cleared.

DUI

On December 24, 2018, officers responded to the 2100 block of Winding Drive on the report of a single vehicle crash. One adult male was contacted attempting to leave the area. He was arrested for DUI related charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/24/18, officers responded to the 1600 block of Iron Horse Drive on the report of a domestic violence incident. No crime could be substantiated. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On 12/25/18, officers were dispatched to an address in the 900 block of Meeker Street on a report of a burglary. This case is closed until further leads develop.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On December 25, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to an injury accident in the 1000 block of Tony Place. Two adult male occupants sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol, had two warrants for his arrest, and assaulted an officer as well as a hospital staff member while in custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Tuesday, 12/25/18, at approximately 0217 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to the 700 block of 1st Avenue in reference to a disturbance. An adult male was arrested for violation of bond conditions and a protection order in addition to criminal mischief. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On December 25, 2018, officers responded to the 200 block of East 8th Avenue on the report of a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on the scene and learned an adult male had hit his family members then fled the area. He was located a short while later and arrested for domestic violence related charges and child abuse. This case is cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Tuesday 12/25/18, at approximately 0402 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1400 block of 24th Avenue on a hit-and-run crash. One adult male was located a short distance away and arrested for DUI, hit-and-run, and other traffic charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday 12/25/18, Longmont police responded to the area of East Ken Pratt Boulevard and East 3rd Avenue in reference to a domestic incident. An adult male was arrested on domestic related charges and DUI. The male was transported to the Boulder County jail and the case is cleared.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Tuesday, 12/25/18, at 0639 hours, Longmont police officers investigated a first-degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief which took place in the 1200 block of Pace Street. This case is closed with no active leads.

DEATH

On 12/25/18, police conducted a death investigation on the 1400 block of Lefthand Drive. This case was investigated and referred to the coroner's office.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Tuesday, December 25, 2018, officers recovered stolen license plates in the 1200 block of Pace Street. This case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at approximately 0940 hours, officers were dispatched to Mountain View Avenue and Main Street in reference to a domestic violence incident. An adult male was later contacted and charged with domestic violence related third-degree assault, false imprisonment with force, obstruction of telephone services, violation of a protection order, violation of bail bonds conditions and driving under restraint (suspended

license).

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday 12/25/18, at 1026 hours, a Longmont police officer investigated a first-degree criminal trespass, theft, and criminal mischief which took place in the 1600 block of Iron Horse Drive. This case is closed with no active leads.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On December 25, 2018, offcers took a report of a criminal mischief in the 300 block of Wadsworth Circle. A vehicle was damaged and nothing was taken. There are no suspects at this time. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at approximately 1147 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to a burglary in the 2300 block of Wedgewood Avenue. An investigation was conducted. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 12/25/18, at approximately 1400 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department took a report of a vehicle trespass in the 1200 block of Pace Street. This case is closed.

DISTURBANCE 

On December 25, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 1300 block of Trail Ridge Road on a family disturbance. One juvenile male was issued a promise to appear referral.
