IDENTITY THEFT

A Longmont resident reported an incident of identity theft. This case is closed due to lack of viable suspect information and jurisdictional issues.

FRAUD

On Friday, 12/14/18, at approximately 0945 hours, an officer took a report of potential financial exploitation of an at-risk adult. This case is open and referred to detectives for follow-up investigation.

DISTURBANCE

On Friday, December 14, 2018, at approximately 1202 hours, Longmont police investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue. As a result of the investigation, an adult male with an outstanding arrest warrant was taken into custody. Another adult male was issued a summons for assault.

HARASSMENT

On 12/14/18, Longmont police investigated a reported extortion/harassment at the 100 block of South Main Street. This case is under investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, December 14, 2018, Longmont officers responded to the 2000 block of Estes Lane on a domestic incident. This case is open.

WELFARE CHECK

On 12/14/18, at approximately 1700 hours, Longmont police received a welfare check/call for service from the 1600 block of Amherst Drive. One adult male was eventually contacted and taken to Longmont United Hospital for a mental health hold. This case is closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On August 7, 2018, Longmont police conducted an investigation into narcotics distribution at local parks. As arrest warrant has been obtained for one adult male.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, officers responded to an injury accident at 17th Avenue and Alpine Street. This case is closed.

CHILD

On Thursday, 12/13/18, at approximately 1630 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 400 block of Highland Drive in response to a domestic incident. An adult male was arrested for child abuse among other charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On December 13, 2018, officers responded to the 300 block of 3rd Avenue in reference to a disturbance. A female was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence among other charges, the case is cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, officers responded to a DUI in the 1900 block of Pike Road. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 12/14/18, Longmont police contacted a male in the 1500 block of Main Street. The male was found to be wanted on a warrant for his arrest. He was placed into custody and later released on bond. This case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont male was bitten by a neighbor's dog. The dog was quarantined at home.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE

The Longmont Police Department arrested an adult male on a probation violation detainer at 1035 Kimbark Street. This case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

On 12/14/18, Longmont police investigated the report of a cold theft from near the 600 block of Emery Street. Police collected the available information and no arrests have been made at this time. This case is currently closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Longmont resident reported criminal mischief in the 1400 block of Red Mountain Drive. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

SEX ASSAULT

The Longmont Police Department completed a joint investigation with Housing & Human Services, (HHS), on allegations of sexual assault. This case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident reported theft in the 4400 block of Redmond Drive. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

ROBBERY

On December 14, 2018, Longmont police took a report of a strong arm robbery in the 2500 block of Main Street. An investigation is ongoing and the case is open.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Friday, December 14, 2018, at approximately 1811 hours, officers responded to the 300 block of South Hover Street in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a physical disturbance. This case is cleared by arrest.

CHILD

On 12/14/18, at approximately 2000 hours, Longmont police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2300 block of 3rd Avenue. Two juveniles were found to be improperly restrained. A summons was issued and parties were released. This case is closed.
