Longmont Police Report 11/5/18

DOMESTIC INCIDENT On Monday, November 5, 2018, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Sunset Drive in reference to a disturbance. A 29 year-old female was arrested for domestic violence related charges on a 41 year-old male.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Monday, November 5, 2018, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Sunset Drive in reference to a disturbance. A 29 year-old female was arrested for domestic violence related charges on a 41 year-old male. Case cleared by arrest.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 00 block of Martinez Place reported the theft of her motorcycle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DRUG VIOLATION

On November 5, 2018, the Longmont Police Department attempted to contact a male on a bicycle in the 1100 block of Kimbark Street for a traffic violation. The male attempted to elude officers and later resisted arrest. A taser was utilized and the suspect was taken into custody. The male was found to have five warrants for his arrest and to be in possession of narcotics, burglary tools, and stolen checks. This case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

On November 05, 2018, an identity theft report was received from the 1700 block of Main Street. An adult female reported her personal information is being used by another person. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

AUTO THEFT

On November 05, 2018, an auto theft report was received from the 2100 block of Hackberry Circle. An adult male reported his vehicle was stolen. Case is open.

THEFT

On Monday, November 5, 2018 at approximately 1635 hours, officers contacted an adult male regarding the theft of the year sticker off his vehicle. The male was unsure on the time frame of the theft and did not have any suspect information. The case is closed.

CHILD

On Friday, November 2, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 4400 block of Redmond Dr. on a child abuse. The report was unfounded and the case will be closed.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

An adult female was bitten by the family cat in the 1100 block of Button Rock Drive. The cat was placed on quarantine at home.

FRAUD

On November 4, 2018, Longmont police took a report of fraudulent use of a credit card that occurred in Denver, Colorado. Longmont took the report because the victim resides in Longmont. This case is closed until documents are obtained to support further investigation.

VICIOUS DOG

A juvenile male was bitten by a neighbor's dog in the 900 block of Button Rock Drive. The dog owner was warned and the dog placed on quarantine at home.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 11/04/18, at approximately 1453 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Trout Creek Circle on the report of a suicidal female. The female was transported to Longmont United Hospital due to injuries. The female was placed on an mental health hold. The case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

On Sunday, November 4, 2018, Longmont police responded to a theft in the 2400 block of Main St. An adult female was issued a summons for theft. Case closed.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On November 4, 2018 at approximately 2031 hours, Longmont police were dispatched to an injury accident at 107th and Park Ridge Avenue, Longmont, CO. This case is open pending further investigation.

DUI

On Sunday, 11/04/18 at approximately 2235 hours, Longmont police conducted a traffic stop near 1st Ave. and Main St. An adult male was arrested for driving while ability impaired by alcohol. Case cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday, 11/05/18 at approximately 0250 hours, Longmont police contacted a wanted adult male party in a vehicle in the 4200-block of Riley Dr. The male was arrested on an active warrant and new charges. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 11/05/18, the Longmont Police Department responded to a trespassing complaint in the 1900 block of Main Street. A 46 year-old female was contacted and found to have an active warrant. The female was arrested, booked, and released on bond. Cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On November 5, 2018, officers contacted one adult male in the 1800 block of Main St. He was arrested for trespassing and a prior outstanding arrest warrant. Case cleared by arrest.

THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 600 block of Bowen Street reported a tree stolen from his back yard. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

SEX ASSAULT

On 11/05/18, the Longmont police investigated a possible sexual assault on a child incident. The case is open and under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On 11/05/18 at approximately 1051 hours, officers responded to a call of an attempt locate on a person with a warrant at Grandpa's Pawn and Gun at 104 9th Avenue, Longmont, CO, 80501. Case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 11/05/18 at approximately 1250 hours, officers responded to a call of a male with a walk-in warrant, in the police lobby at 225 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO. Case is cleared by an arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On Monday, November 5, 2018, Longmont police responded to the lobby of the police department for a male yelling obscenities at police records staff. The male left prior to officer arrival. Case will be closed.

SHOPLIFT

On 11/05/18 at approximately 1500 hours, Longmont police responded to the 2400 block of Main St. to an address in the city of Longmont, county of Boulder, and state of Colorado reference a cold shoplifting report. Officer positively identified a male suspect and will apply for an arrest warrant for the suspect for theft charges. Case open, warrant pending.

MENACING

On 11/5/18 at approximately 1611 hours, a citizen reported an unknown male driving a white truck pointing a gun at them as a result of a driving "road rage" incident. The suspect was not identified and the case is closed.

THEFT

On Monday, November 5, 2018, Longmont police responded to the 2300 block of Clover Basin Dr. for a theft. An adult male left without paying for his beers. Further investigation showed a violation of a protection order and a bond conditions. Case is open.
