THEFT

On 11/29/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 300 block of 1st Avenue. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

PROTECTION ORDER

Longmont police responded to the 2000 block of McCall Place on a report of a protection order violation. The case is under investigation.

ANIMAL FOLLOW-UP

On 11/29/18, Longmont police received a report of cruelty to animals in the 4500 block of Redmond Drive. This case was investigated and later closed due to lack of evidence.

CHILD

On 11/30/18, Longmont police investigated a possible child abuse. It was determined the incident occurred out of state at an unknown specific location. The case is open pending further investigation.

INFORMATION

On 11/29/18, police took a report of possible domestic abuse. Information was documented and forwarded to detectives for review.

SEX ASSAULT

On 11/29/18, at approximately 21:51 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of a sex assault on a 10 year-old child by a male suspect in the 600 block of Martin Street. Case status is open, pending further investigation.

DRUG VIOLATION

On November 27, an officer received a report of a juvenile in possession of marijuana in the 4900 block of Nelson Road. At the conclusion of the investigation, the juvenile male was issued summons for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. The case is cleared by arrest.

FOLLOW UP

Longmont police responded to the 2400 block of Main Street on a report of a recovered stolen vehicle. The owner was notified and retrieved the vehicle.

INJURY ACCIDENT

On Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at approximately 16:59 hours, officers were advised of an accident involving a vehicle into a house at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Terry Street. The investigation determined that the adult male driver of the vehicle was under the influence of drugs and had been involved in four additional auto accidents before hitting the house. He was placed under arrest on numerous traffic and criminal charges and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, November 28, 2018, officers responded to the 800 block of Coffman Street on a report of a domestic incident. A male was taken into custody and the case is cleared by arrest.

WELFARE CHECK

On 11/28/18, Longmont police responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Longs Peak Avenue in reference to a possible welfare check. An adult woman was contacted in her home and was transported by medical personnel to the hospital. Case closed, completed for informational purposes.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident reported identity theft in the 5000 block of Bella Vista Drive. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The Longmont Police Department assisted the Department of Housing & Human Services, (HHS), with an Outside Agency Assist, in Central Longmont. Case is closed.

HARASSMENT

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, at approximately 12:41 hours, officers took a harassment report,which occurred in the 1700 block of Main Street, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. Case closed.

LOST PROPERTY

A Longmont resident reported lost license plates in the 500 block of Baker Street. Case is closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On Thursday, 11/29/18, Longmont police officers responded to the area of 2nd Avenue and Main Street in reference to a male on scene whose parole had been revoked. Officers contacted the male and took him into custody without incident. Case closed - Cleared by arrest.

CHILD

On November 29, 2018, at approximately 18:38 hours, Longmont police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on a child issue. No charges filed, the case is closed.
