On Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at approximately 0858 am, deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Rural Fire, Sunshine Fire, Gold Hill Fire, and AMR were dispatched to the 5000 block of Sunshine Canyon in unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado.  They had received a report of a 19 year old male who had sustained a traumatic injury, believed to be the result of a fall off a porch, and was not breathing. The male party was pronounced dead on scene.

Investigators from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office are investigating the death.  The Coroner’s Office will make a determination as to the official cause and manner of death once they have completed their investigation, but foul play is not suspected at this time.  The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the decedent once they have confirmed that all family members have been notified of the death.
