Police Report: May 15, 2018

THEFT On May 14, 2018 a theft report was received from the 400 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. An adult female was contacted who reported she lost her debit card and discovered it was used making unauthorized purchases. There is no suspect information.

THEFT

On May 14, 2018 a theft report was received from the 400 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. An adult female was contacted who reported she lost her debit card and discovered it was used making unauthorized purchases. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

DUI

On May 14, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Airport Road on a domestic violence-related disturbance. One adult male was arrested for DUI, child abuse, and being in possession of firearms while under the influence of alcohol. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On May 15th, 2018, Officers responded to the 2200 BLK of Sherman Street on report of a suicidal man who also had an active felony arrest warrant. After a stand of with police, he was arrested and charged with obstruction and other charges. Case cleared by arrest.

MISSING PERSON

On 05-15-18 the Longmont Police investigated a runaway juvenile. The juvenile had been see and safe at local restaurants and businesses, but has not returned home yet. The case is closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 05/15/18, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass which occurred in the 700 Blk. of S. Terry St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

THEFT

On May 15, 2018 a theft report was received from the 1100 block of Kimbark Street. An adult female was contacted who reported her bank cards were stolen from her vehicle and several unauthorized purchases were made with them. Case is under investigation.

WARRANT ARREST

On May 15th, 2018 at approximately 2030 hours, Longmont Police contacted two parties in the 800 block of S. Main St. Longmont, CO. An adult female and male were arrested without incident on outstanding warrants.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 05/13/2018 Longmont police responded to the 700 block of Baker St., reference a reported disturbance. Upon arrival officers contacted an adult female, who was found to be in violation of a protection order. The female was taken into custody without incident, and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

WELFARE CHECK

On 05/14/18, officers responded to an address in the 1500 block of Amherst Dr on a welfare check. An adult female was transported to the hospital. Case is closed

DRUG VIOLATION

On Monday, May 14, 2018 at about 1744 hours, The LPD observed a traffic violation at Main St and 8th Ave. After stopping the vehicle, the passenger was arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and the driver was served a summons for traffic violations. The case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On Monday, 05/14/18 at approximately 2210 hours, Longmont Police contacted an occupied vehicle in a closed park area at Izaak Walton Park. An adult female was arrested for an active warrant from another agency. Case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday, 05/15/18 at approximately 0036 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1200-block of Trail Ridge Rd in reference to a physical domestic disturbance between a male and a female. An adult male was arrested for felony assault and other charges. Case cleared by arrest.

LOST PROPERTY

On May 15, 2018 a theft report was received from the 300 block of National Place. An adult female was contacted who reported her tempory license tag was stolen. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

AUTO THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 800 block of Summer Hawk Drive reported his vehicle stolen. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

AUTO THEFT

On Tuesday, 05/15/18, a report was taken reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft which occurred in the 1600 Blk. of Meeker Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by the family dog while breaking up a dog fight in the 1200 block of Meadow Street. The dog was placed on quarantine at home.

BURGLARY

On Tuesday, May 15 officers responded to the 800 block of Delaware Ave in regards to a burglary that occured between May 5 and May 14. Case cleared exceptional.

FRAUD

On 051518, officers were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Lashley St on a report of a fraud. An adult male was contacted and the case is closed.

VICIOUS DOG

On 05-14-18, at approximately 0730 hours, a woman was bitten by a dog while walking along South Main between Plateau and Pike. The dog was being walked but the owner is unknown at this time.

WARRANT ARREST

On May 15th, 2018 at approximately 2155 hours, Longmont Police contacted an adult female in the 2400 block of 17TH Avenue Longmont, CO. The female was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

ASSAULT

On 05/15/2018, at approximately 1521 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Ave, an address in the City of Longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado reference a cold assault. After a thorough investigation a report was taken however, the victim did not wish to pursue charges. Case closed.

BURGLARY

On 05/15/2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 000 block of 9th ave in response to a burglary. Officers interviwed the home owner and the case will be closed due to lack of suspect leads. Case Closed.

SHOPLIFT

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 1642 hours, Longmont Police responded to a theft in the 1200 block of S. Hover St. A 29-year-old female was contacted and referred to restorative justice. The case has been exceptionally cleared.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 1749 hours, Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way in regards to a possible protection order violation. While detaining a male, a 31-year-old female attempted to interfere with the arrest. The female was arrested and transported to jail. The male was later released. This case is cleared by arrest.
