The Southern Water Supply Project Phase 2 (SWSP II) will cause temporary road closures, beginning on Thursday, May 9. SWSP II is a 36” waterline delivering water to Longs Peak Water District, Left Hand Water District, The City of Berthoud, and The City of Boulder.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, St. Vrain Rd. will be closed just West of the Boulder County Offices and will not reopen to through traffic until midnight on Tuesday, May 14. During this time, the only traffic permitted on St. Vrain Rd. will be homeowners along St. Vrain Rd. and Boulder County employees. There will be a detour plan along
North 75th St and Airport Rd to route traffic that would normally use St. Vrain Rd as a throughway.

Please reach out to Ethan Louis, Project Engineer with Garney Construction, at (814) 528-3089 with any questions or concerns.
