The City of Longmont has launched a free mobile app to help residents stay aware of their trash pickup day, access the Waste Wizard sorting tool and learn more about special collection services and events offered by the Waste Services
division.

The Longmont Waste Services app, which is available in both English and Spanish, is personalized to a resident’s address to provide details on which of their services (composting, recycling, trash) are being collected each week. It also automatically adjusts for holiday collection schedules.

Residents can choose to receive “push” notifications at a time of their choosing either the day before or the day of their collection.

“Ultimately, our goal is to help everyone put the right items in the right containers, and this app will simplify the process,” Waste Services Manager Charles Kamenides said. “Remember, every little bit helps.”

The app is available for both iPhone and Android users. To download the app, simply search “Longmont Waste Services” in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Questions about the Longmont Waste Services app can be directed to the PWNR Customer Service Center at 303-651-8416 or [email protected].
