Become Water-Wise through Landscape Seminars
Free, expert-led evening seminars offer how-to's of Xeriscaping and other water-wise landscape practices.
Resource Central's popular Water-Wise Landscape Seminars are back for another season. The City of Longmont is one of 13 local water providers who partner with Resource Central to offer the 2-hour seminars on Xeriscape and other sustainable landscaping practices.
These expert-led seminars are offered at no cost to residents, and they are open to everyone (registration is required). Throughout the gardening season, Resource Central will be hosting 23 seminars in 13 different communities across the Front Range. Seminars will be held in Longmont on April 10 and 23 from 6-8 pm at the Longmont Senior Center.
Tuesday, April 10th: How to Design the Water-Wise Landscape of Your Dreams
This comprehensive seminar will teach you how to create the Xeriscape garden of your dreams. Join us to learn everything from how to pick the best location for your project to creating a map of your renovation, and finally, to selecting the right plants to your space.
Monday, April 23: DIY Xeriscaping: Expert Tips and Tricks
Join us for an inspiring evening full of do-it-yourself tips and tricks to help you improve your landscape while saving resources! Whether you have a few small projects in mind or want to overhaul the entire backyard, this seminar will provide attendees with tangible ways to create thriving and long-lasting landscapes.
Both seminars will be held in Rooms D + E at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Ave.
