Parks, Open Space, and Trails hosts this annual volunteer event to honor Ann Henson. Ann was an explorer, a giver, a teacher, and an important figure in our Front Range botanical community. She contributed her knowledge and botanical skills to the Colorado Native Plant Society, the Colorado Natural Areas Program, Boulder County, Adopt-A-Rare Plant Program, Rocky Mtn. National Park, and Denver Botanic Gardens. Volunteering to improve the health of native ecosystems on public land is the perfect way to celebrate Ann’s life and legacy.

Volunteers will receive education from City of Longmont staff and will work to eradicate noxious weeds in an upland plant community next to the north pond. Refreshments will be provided. Space is limited. Please register on the Parks, Open Space, and Trails JoinUs volunteer portal.
