Ziggi’s Coffee (www.ZiggisCoffee.com) has signed an agreement to bring multiple units to the Denver metro area with new franchisee, Dana Hunsinger.

As a proud Denver native with a family history deeply rooted in Colorado, Hunsinger hopes to contribute to the legacy left by her parents and grandparents by opening this business and creating a place for the community to enjoy.

“Not many people can say their grandparents were some of the first homesteaders in Colorado,” said Hunsinger. “It started with them and continued with my parents, who also left their mark. My dad helped pave the roads in Conifer and Evergreen and worked on iconic Downtown Denver buildings. Now, it’s my turn.”

After working on several businesses over the past 10 years, while also teaching elementary school and coaching basketball, Dana decided she wanted something new. She wanted something that would allow her to continue teaching and coaching, while providing an outlet to grow her family legacy.

“I wanted something that was my own but that would still provide the support I need to succeed. With Ziggi’s, I’ve got the best of both worlds, which is awesome,” she said.

Hunsinger is familiar with Ziggi’s Coffee through her husband, who works as the company’s architect and has constructed prime locations for franchisees over the past six years. But when it came to investing in the business as franchise owners themselves, it was totally Dana’s idea.

“He told me, ‘If you wanted to start any other business, I would have said heck no.’ But he really believes in Ziggi’s and what they do. I think what we both really like is that the Ziggi’s team is very supportive from the beginning all the way through and that’s what I wanted in a business.”

Hunsinger says this business is dedicated to her parents and to the education and wisdom they instilled in her since she was young. The company LLC is named after her parent’s initials; MSPA Investments, LLC.

This is the company’s 50th franchise agreement, which grants Hunsinger the rights to open three locations. She is currently working with the team at Ziggi’s Coffee to help identify viable sites throughout the greater Denver area.
