Sumo Sushi & Grill celebrated a ribbon cutting on Friday, June 8, 2018, for joining the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce.
"We're extremely grateful to be welcomed into this community," said Poly Sim, general manager of Sumo Sushi & Grill.
Sumo Sushi and Grill held an all-day fundraiser for Wild Plum Center on Thursday, March 31, 2018. All of the proceeds from food sales that day were donated. In total they raised $6,579.23.
"I just want to say we so appreciate Sumo Sushi for reaching out to us, for valuing education, and for valuing our community," said Amy Ogilvie, executive director of the Wild Plum Center.
Wild Plum Center is a, "designated Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start (HS) provider for the Longmont community," according to their website.
