In 2018, NextLight was named “the fastest internet service provider in the country,” by PC Magazine.
This year, PC Magazine noted that NextLight improved on its speed test by 24% from its 2018 performance. This places NextLight as the fastest in its seven-state region. Those states include Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
“There is no way to beat a local provider that services only one town (Longmont, Colorado) like NextLight does,” the publication wrote. It suggested its readers to “move to Longmont if you really need some speed.”
PC Magazine also ranked NextLight second on the best gaming ISPs regional list in Januarty 2019.
“We’re always excited to receive these national accolades, but the highest praise of all continues to come from our customers,” acting General Manager Susan Wisecup of Longmont Power & Communications said. “NextLight belongs to our community, and we work hard to provide our residents and businesses with a service that benefits all of Longmont and allows it to flourish.”
