Longmont City Council Renews SBDC's Contract For 2018

On Tuesday night, Longmont City Council unanimously voted to renew the Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) contract for 2018.

Over the course of the year, the City of Longmont will compensate the SBDC a total of $39,925, which will be disbursed in twelve monthly payments of $3,327.08, for services provided under the agreement.

Some of the services that the SBDC is contractually required to provide consists of practical workshops, one-on-one consultations, the Leading Edge Entrepreneurship Series, connections to business resources, and to maintain a presence in Longmont, which requires the SBDC director to "commit an average of eight hours per month to the SBDC satellite office located in Longmont."

By renewing the contract with the City of Longmont, the SBDC further agrees to provide "semi-annual activity reports, SBDC’s periodic newsletters (as published) and an annual evaluation specifically related to services to be performed by SBDC" to the City Manager's office and the City Council no late than March 15, 2019.
