Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), a nonprofit that supports individuals who want to launch a small business or startup, is hosting their first Pitch Contest in Longmont on August 28.

This contest will take place in the Renaissance Room at La Vita Bella, located at 471 Main St. from 6-8 p.m. on August 28.

“This pitch contest (think of Shark Tank without the teeth) is open to all ideas,” states Executive Director of EforAll, Harris Rollinger.

Aspiring entrepreneurs have the opportunity to share their ideas and receive feedback. Prizes will be given out for business and nonprofit ideas. The prizes range from $1,000 for the grand prize to $500 for third place and fan favorite.

While the event is free to attend and apply, registration is required to pitch your idea. Deadlines to apply is August 14 at midnight.

Questions should be directed to Harris Rollinger.
