Boulder County Parks & Open Space has announced its fourth juried photography exhibit featuring county public lands. Photographers are invited to visit county-owned open space to create work to submit for consideration or submit work from their portfolio that features county public lands. Entries will be accepted between May 17 and June 19.

Several photography sessions - including two on properties normally closed to the public - will be held before the deadline to submit entries on June 19. To sign up please visit the Land through the Lens webpage. The first photography session will be Saturday, April 6.

Photographers may submit up to five pieces for a $30 entry fee. Entry fees will be used for cash prizes to be awarded to exhibitors. All profits will be donated to the Boulder County Parks & Open Space Foundation (www.PreserveBoulderCounty.org).

The exhibit opening will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, 5-8 p.m. at The Great Frame Up Longmont, with catered appetizers provided and wine available for purchase. The exhibit will be on display through Friday, Sept. 6.
