Interested Longmont businesses, multi-family housing units, and nonprofit organizations can receive free bicycle racks from Boulder County’s Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) program in order to provide a safe and convenient place for employee and customer bicycle parking. The number of available racks is limited, so businesses should promptly submit a request.

PACE advisors will help find a good spot for the racks and have a design layout approved by their local government permitting office. Locations receiving the racks will be responsible for the cost of installation, but the county will provide a list of pre-qualified installers. All eligible locations can receive up to four bike racks.

Boulder County’s PACE program distributes free bike racks throughout the entire county, but, in recent years, requests from Longmont have declined.
