Land Use Department:  Docket DC-18-0002 Solar Energy Systems Text Amendments; Staff proposes Land Use Code text amendments related to solar energy systems. Proposed changes pertain primarily to Articles 4 (Zoning) and 18 (Definitions). They include adding use categories for building-mounted, ground-mounted and parking canopy systems; changing review requirements for certain types of solar projects; allowing community solar garden-scale projects on designated Significant Agricultural Lands; changing from capacity-based to area-of-disturbance-based size categories for ground-mounted solar; among other changes.

2.   2019 Recommended Budget for the Burgundy Park Public Improvement District. The Board of County Commissioners will sit as the Board of Directors of the

Burgundy Park PID for this hearing.

3.   2019 Boulder County Recommended Budget.

Land Use Department:  Temporary Moratorium for Docket DC-18-0004 Niwot RuralCommunity District Code Update; This public hearing is for the purpose of receiving public comment on whether to terminate, extend, or otherwise amend the six-month moratorium on processing applications for development in the Niwot Rural Community District pending consideration of Land Use Code amendments approved by Board of County Commissioners’ in Resolution 2018-112 on September 20, 2018.

The proposed project is located in the Forestry Zoning District at 6313 Sunshine Canyon Drive, on County Road 85 approximately .5 miles from its intersection with Sunshine Canyon Drive, in Section 17, T1N, R71W.
